Phillip Huckins
Phillip graduated from Eastern Montana College in 1969 with a Bachelor
of Science degree in secondary education. He then worked for the Montana
Department of Livestock and attended the Montana Law Enforcement
Academy. In 1972, he returned to the family ranch on the Powder River in
Montana and managed the ranch operations until 1990.
He began his real estate career in mid 1990 after attending Cooley’s
Wyoming Real Estate Institute. At Banner Realty, prior to their merger
with ERA Carroll Realty, Phillip began listing and sales of residential,
ranch and commercial properties. A very active real estate market
provided him with valuable experience.
Phillip took the obligation of a Realtor to be “professional” seriously
and attended numerous classes meeting that obligation and enhancing his
ability to be the most honest, capable and reliable Realtor® a client or
customer could seek out.
Since becoming a Realtor® Phillip has attended classes on a wide array
of subjects including Professional Standards, Real Estate Laws and
Regulations, Contracts, Brokerage Relationships, Tax Deferred Exchanges,
Conservation Easements, Risk Management, Wyoming Water Rights, Computer
Plotting and Legal Descriptions, and many more too numerous to list
here.
Continuing education is a requirement of most professionals, but it is
also a necessity in the constantly changing and evolving real estate
profession. He is committed to staying current and passing the benefits
